Your club has been a busy place and your Board of Directors have been busy people during 2025.
The year started with a major rebuild of the skeet field houses. This included structural repairs and new exterior materials.
In the spring we started to have a hog problem on the 200-yard range and on the shotgun fields. When it became obvious that mowing was no longer possible on the 200-yard range Mark Franecki coordinated with JD Watson for a work day that included pistol and rifle range repairs.
You have probably also noticed that we now have a concrete firing pad on the 200-yard range. Mark Franecki spearheaded this project and the 200-yard range now looks like the 100-yard range.
During the summer, our neighbor to the north-west came to us with an offer to sell us her 19.1 acres of land that runs down the left side of our property. After numerous discussions and negotiations, the board authorized the purchase of this land. TRPC has now grown to 100 acres.
As we move through the last quarter of the year we have several more projects in progress. Two throwers have been purchased to replace failing machines on the skeet fields. Mark Franecki is currently in the process of scheduling another day with JD Watson for more work on the pistol ranges, replacing the target frame holders on the 200-yard range and some reconditioning of the backstop. During the same time, we will have a company come in to sandblast and repaint the four rifle range awnings to the right of the flag pole.
